I remember my mom telling me: “once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic.” I believed her. I had no reason to doubt her, she was my mom. When I was 14 I started experimenting with drugs. The experiment turned into a 10 year lifestyle. As my addiction worsened, I believed I couldn’t change. Once an addict, always an addict. Well, today, I don’t believe that statement any longer. I believe, Jesus saves!
